A channel for everything Ground Truth

This Ground Truth series focuses on the Greater Brisbane Region and its built environments, urban expansion and natural systems. It shows the changing nature of the city and the impact of the 2011 floods.

The Birdsville sequence of imagery is often breathtakingly beautiful. Yet in the hands of scientists trained to interpret the tiniest detail, they are sources of valuable data that can be used to analyse change, from the green flush of ground cover, the devastating impact of drought and fire and the regeneration after flooding rains.
